Announcing some great new additions to our database of Tutors
We have added some great new tutors to our database in the past week. Here's what some of them have to say:
"I am a recent graduate from Bristol University with a degree in Mathematics and ability to tutor physics and mathematics to 'A' level and sciences to GCSE level. I have given one-to-one tutoring as well as assisting in classrooms teaching small groups.
I believe I am calm, approachable and patient in my attitude to tutoring. I am happy to travel to around 10 miles and can teach either in my home or the pupil's."
"A french native speaker, I have been living in the UK for three years and working with students in French and German at all levels. After graduating in German, I have worked for three years in Germany teaching French. I enjoy teaching and especially on a one-to-one basis, as I can best adapt to the students' needs. I usually work in a relaxed but working atomosphere and can travel to almost any part of Greater Manchester."
Due to demand,we are still in urgent need of personal tutors who are graduates or qualified teachers! Please do apply using the link on our website

Why Private Tuition?
As a parent you may choose private tuition for your children to enable a child who has fallen behind to catch up, to learn a subject of interest outside the school environment, or to stretch your child further or give closer attention to the needs of your child than is possible in the classroom. Tutoring can raise levels of school performance, help a child to increase their confidence, enjoyment and motivation in a subject and develop study skills and discipline that can be applied across a number of subjects.
If you are curious to see whether there are tutors available in your area, simply take a look at the student form on our website. It is very easy to use -- you will be prompted to enter your postcode and by selecting the subject and level of tuition you are looking for, you will be provided with a list of profiles for local tutors we have available and where they are based in your area. We cover the whole of mainland Britain.
If you feel any of these tutors meet with your requirements, select them by ticking the relevant boxes (you may select and receive information for up to 6 tutors) and after confirming your contact details you may submit your enquiry. You will then receive the tutors full contact details and will be able to contact them, or them you, to discuss the specifics of the tuition required.
We cover the following subjects at all levels; primary, lower secondary, GCSE, AS level and A level and beyond
Maths
English
General Science
Combined Science
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
French
German
Computer Studies/Information Technology
Geography
History

It's that time of year again!
Now is the time of year where we start to receive an ever increasing number of enquiries from potential pupils - the holiday season is over, GCSE, A level and SATs results have been assimilated and children are back in school or at university. There will be a great demand for tutors in all subjects and at all levels.
If pupils are looking for a tutor online via our website, it is advisable to select more than one tutor. As we get further into the term the tutors will have less hours available for new pupils. The most popular subjects, at all levels from primary through to lower secodary, GCSE, A level and even University level are; Maths, English, Basic skills (maths, English and reading), Combined Science, General Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, I.T. or I.C.T, French, German, Geography and History.
You can carry out an initial search for tutors starting here and, by submitting the form and completing your contact details, you will receive complete information for all the tutors you have chosen. Only the tutors chosen by you will receive yours.
Tutors, if you wish to maximise the number of enquiries, then please make sure we know you are keen and we have your up to date contact information. You should also check your tutor profile - is all the information still relevant? Can you offer more subjects, or would you prefer to specialise in one? Keep in touch!

Our Great Tutors!
When an introduction to a tutor is made we always hope the outcome will be a satifactory and productive one. We often receive praise from happy parents and pupils following a course of tuition with one of our tutors. Below are just a few of the comments we have received recently:
"Just a short note to let you know that I am absolutely delighted with your recommendation of a French tutor in Colchester. Miss ****** is the ideal tutor for all levels and I find her very helpful and encouraging."
"I would like to thank you for your excellent tutor finding service. My daughter has attended almost weekly maths sessions since early this year with Ms ****** of Heaton Moor. We have found her to be an experienced and thorough tutor."
"I contacted your website in August last year as I was looking for a tutor for my son. I chose Mr ****** and he has been coming to the house every weekend to tutor my son on Physics and I would like to thank you for putting me in touch with him. My son found him very approachable, patient and good at explaining. He continually checked my son's understanding of whatever he was going over. He is now facing the exam with more confidence than he ever would have without him and has his best chance at succeeding and gaining a good qualification. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr ****** in the future."
